|nepal - Imported Decorative Papers
Handmade Lokta decorative art papers, imported from Nepal, are made from the long textured bast fibers of the Daphne (Lokta) shrub grown around 6-9,000 feet up in the Himalayan region of Nepal. After being harvested and cut to about 6" from the ground, Lokta bushes regenerate in about 4 years. Eco-friendly Lokta fibers also contain a natural insect repellant.
